Jude Livermore Celebrates a Standout 2023 Season

MSCC junior Jude Livermore enjoyed an outstanding 2023 season, claiming senior and junior khanacross victories and four trophies at Gold Coast Tweed Sporting Car Club. At just 16, his results showed plenty of promise for the future.

Murwillumbah Sporting Car Club junior member Jude Livermore celebrated a hugely successful 2023 motorsport season, achieving strong results against both junior and senior competitors.

The 16-year-old recorded several impressive finishes in MSCC khanacross events at Murwillumbah Showground. He placed third in the seniors in March, took first place in the seniors in June and won the junior competition in August.

Jude also enjoyed success competing at sister club Gold Coast Tweed Sporting Car Club’s khanacross events at Mount Tambourine, collecting four trophies across the season.

His achievements included the G Class Junior trophy after a clean sweep of seven class wins from seven events, along with the B Class under two-litre front-wheel-drive trophy and the Junior Club Champion title.

He also finished third overall in the series, behind two fully rally-prepared Subaru WRXs.

Among the season’s highlights, Jude took first place on three occasions while competing against Queensland Rally Championship cars and drivers — an impressive achievement for a young competitor.

With limited opportunities to practise, Jude often went straight into competition when he arrived at an event, making his results all the more creditable.

Looking ahead to 2024, Jude hoped to broaden his experience through hillclimbs, rallycross events and track days, alongside further khanacross competition.

Everyone at Murwillumbah Sporting Car Club congratulates Jude on a successful season and looks forward to seeing his racing and driving skills continue to develop.
