Club Meetings

Our regular meetings are a great opportunity for members to stay informed, get involved in the planning of club events, and connect with other motorsport enthusiasts.

The Murwillumbah Sporting Car Club holds regular monthly meetings for all members. These meetings are vital to the running of the club, where important decisions are made, event updates are provided, and new ideas are discussed. Members are encouraged to attend and contribute their thoughts.

• When: The second Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM
• Where: Condong Bowls Club, 1 McLeod St, Condong, NSW

The meetings usually last around 1-2 hours and include discussions on upcoming events, club developments, driver programs, and social gatherings. New members are always welcome to attend and get involved.

Club meetings cover a variety of topics, including:

• Event Planning: Updates and planning for upcoming races, motorkhanas, and social events.
• Young Driver Program Updates: Progress and updates on our ongoing driver development program.
• Committee Reports: Hear from the president, secretary, and treasurer on the club’s activities, finances, and membership.
• Open Forum: A chance for members to voice their opinions, suggest new ideas, and ask questions.
• Guest Speakers: Occasionally, we invite guest speakers from the world of motorsport to share their expertise and insights.

Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the club, attending meetings is a great way to get involved. Our club thrives on the enthusiasm and participation of its members, and we encourage everyone to contribute, whether it's volunteering for event days, helping with planning, or simply sharing your ideas.

If you can’t attend a meeting in person, minutes of the meeting will be posted on our website, so you can stay up to date with all club matters.

In addition to regular monthly meetings, the club also holds Special General Meetings (SGMs) when important matters require the input and approval of the membership. These may include voting on major club decisions, changes to the constitution, or financial matters. Members will be notified in advance of any upcoming SGMs via email and the club’s social media channels.
